Maxixe Zebra also known as ‘West Indian Gherkin’ originated in Africa producing green oval fruits, with striped skin and pale inner crisp flesh. Grow like a ground cover cucumber or up trellis if preferred. Fruits can be eaten boiled, fried or cut fresh in salads with a fresh cucumber flavour.
